[It's late at night, and Rika is sitting on the ground, resting. In the background, there are a few trees and patches of grass. She's currently sitting on the trail itself, her Vulpix right beside her. She looks sad for a moment before she has the camera completely focused on her, and she smiles.]

I'm currently on my way to Violet City. I believe it is only a few more days! [She gives a big smile.] I can't wait to see this city! I think Hope is excited too! [She moves the pokegear to show the Vulpix, who is currently sniffing at something on the ground.]

[When the camera returns to Rika, her demanor has changed slightly and she has a sad smile on her face.] Mii, I've been thinking recently about how everyone has been away from home. So, I was wondering... what was your hometown like? [It's obvious she's feeling homesick, and the only thing she could think of to feel better was to talk to others about their own worlds.]

[ Asuka looks a little concerned, but no harm in answering. ]

My hometown? It wasn't anything too special, and I spent the past few years living at my school.

Violet City's really nice. It's a little larger than Cherrygrove, but everyone here seems generally friendly.

...I traveled a lot back in my world. I haven't been to my hometown since I was a teenager.

Ah, well what was your school like?

I had a feeling that it might be larger than Cherrygrove. [She smiles.] That is quite true! I have yet to meet someone who is not at least somewhat friendly.

[She's a little curious.] Why did you travel a lot?

*Cue some of the grass nearby rustling and shaking dramatically before Hayate pops out of it, rather surprised at this sight!*

--eh? Rika-san, you're still awake? What were you broadcasting about?

... Every day was an adventure. I learned a lot, both in theory and in putting that theory into practice, and the people I met there changed my life for the better. Although it was divided into classes depending on test scores and abilities, they all started to mingle and interact after awhile. It would be foolish to judge a person by something like that as it is.

We've discussed this before, haven't we? [a pause] Are you feeling homesick?

[She smiles slightly.] Yes! I happen to stay up late most nights!

I was just asking everyone what their hometown was like.

That sounds like a very good school to have attended!

I agree. You can't judge someone without really knowing who they are first.

I believe we have! It was our first conversation, wasn't it?

... A little, yes.

It was. You told me you came from a quieter town, while I hailed from the city.

I hope speaking with someone helps alleviate it, though don't forget to get your rest as well.

[ at that, Asuka studies her thoughtfully, before her smile softens. ]

I would say you're very wise for someone so young, but age isn't always a factor, is it?

Well, as long as you get enough sleep...

Hometown...? *Tilting his head a bit.* I don't really apply to that one, I think...

I hope it does, but I know this feeling probably will not go away.

I will get my rest! I am quite used to staying up late, though!

I also don't believe that age is a factor. One can be much older mentally than physically.

Ah... with the nature of our presence here, that wouldn't surprsie me.

Good. And make sure Ayasaki gets a good amount of sleep, as well. [she still isn't convinced four hours is enough]

Yes. Although, sometimes it is nice to be away from home.

It would be nicer if we knew there was a way back.

[She giggles.] Everyone seems to mature at their own pace.

[ walking along with her pokegear; you may recognize the scenery as... The same path you're on lol, just a bit behind ]

I do not have a home town.

I'm from the city, you know? And that's pretty much the same everywhere...

Yes. It does worry me that there seems to be no way back...

There has to be something that's different or unique about your city, though!
