[The video feed turns on and is focused on a Drifblim before the Gear is turned towards Rika, who grins. In the background is the entrance to Azalea.] Guardian evolved! He's now a Drifblim! [She sounds excited as she turns the video back onto the pokémon.] He's the first one on my team to evolve. [She takes a breath to say something else, but before she has the chance to, a bright light from somewhere offscreen begins to flood the video feed.]

[Rika hands off the Gear to her Mime Jr as she goes to inspect the light, which is emanating from the location her Magikarp was at only a few seconds ago. Once the light dies down, the Magikarp is now replaced with a Gyarados, and a surprised Rika looking up at it.] You evolved too? [The Gyarados lets out a roar in confirmation before it lunges forward to tackle Rika.]

[The video feed promptly shuts off as the Mime Jr discards the Gear, rushing to its trainer's side.]

Congratul-- Rika-chan?!

[ YOU ARE TOO TINY TO BE TACKLED. ]

--! Furude! [THIS IS NOT GOOD, have a Mitsuru rushing in to SNATCH HER OUT OF THE WAY]

[Before anything can happen, her Drifblim and Mime Jr grab her and get her out of the way.] ... Mii.

[She lets herself be snatched from the Gyarados.] Thank you, Mitsuru.

[ she's already running forward to put herself between the little girl and the Gyarados, just in case. ] Are you all right?

[She looks a little dazed, but fine.] Yes. Thank you.

[once they are both out of harm's way, she puts Rika down and turns to face the Gyarados]

What on Earth was your Pokemon thinking?

[Rika looks over at the Gyarados, giving it an unamused look.]

I'm not really sure. He did that a lot as a Magikarp...

[ turning to the Gyarados, then. ]

What were you thinking? You should have been more aware of your size, unless you were intending to seriously injure her!

Whoa-! What is tha-- R-Rika-san?! *at first Hayate just wanted to scream at the GIANT DRAGON. But then he saw it was about to dive headlong into Rika, so cue up the heroic sound track! Time for the butler to dramatically rush forward, scoop his favorite little sister figure up into his arms and get her a good ten feet away!*

--! [WHOA. Stepping in between the Gyarados and Rika.] Oi, oi! Time out!

[At the scolding, the Gyarados bends his head down. Rika walks up to it and pats it on the head.] You do need to be more aware of your size. I know you were just playing, but you have to be more careful now. You're much bigger than you were as a Magikarp.

Ah! Thank you, Hayate! [She's a little disoriented, but she smiles anyway.]

Just keep that in mind, and you should be fine.

[The Gyarados stops in its tracks.]

Keiichi! You could've gotten hurt! [Rika looks angry for a moment, but that fades and she smiles.] Thank you.

[The Gyarados nudges Rika with its head, but ends up knocking her back a little. She only laughs.] See what I mean? You need to watch out more!

It looks like his intentions are good, at least.

They are. He just likes to play.

He's just a little too big for it.

[She nods.] He'll just have to find ways so that he can play without being a danger to others.

That being said, a double evolution's very impressive!

It is, isn't it?

I think that their levels just happened to be timed that way.

Your Mime Jr. might be evolving soon, too.
