[Rika's peacefully walking out of the Center in Goldenrod, when a bright light suddenly flashes and she covers her eyes. When she opens them, a strange pokémon is in front of her.]

Mii? What should I do with you? [She backs up a bit, slightly afraid of the large pokémon. However, she smiles.] I suppose I should catch you! [She throws a pokéball that she got from her bag at it, successfully catching it. Rika releases it from the ball and smiles at it again.] You look scary, but I'm sure you're not! [She tilts her head to the side.] Mii... what are you, though?

[Walking on by, with a Pikachu latched to her head. She doesn't know why and she's not even carrying any Pokeballs. ...BUT BOY, DOESN'T THIS GIRL LOOK A LOT LIKE--

[Rika freezes. No one else says "Mii" but her. She turns to see who it is.]

It's a pokémon. Apparently it's called a Lugia.

She can't help but ask, even though the Rika she's seeing isn't wearing the same witch attire Bernkastel has...]

I have met amazing people in this world as well. They've become some of my closest friends, and are people I trust completely.
