[Rika's peacefully walking out of the Center in Goldenrod, when a bright light suddenly flashes and she covers her eyes. When she opens them, a strange pokémon is in front of her.]

Mii? What should I do with you? [She backs up a bit, slightly afraid of the large pokémon. However, she smiles.] I suppose I should catch you! [She throws a pokéball that she got from her bag at it, successfully catching it. Rika releases it from the ball and smiles at it again.] You look scary, but I'm sure you're not! [She tilts her head to the side.] Mii... what are you, though?

[She smiles again.] ...I was able to meet some amazing people in that world. It's not so bad.

Satoko and Hanyuu are there. Rena was there for a short amount of time, but I was glad I could see her again.

... Keiichi and Satoko are here with me. Rena was here for a while when I first arrived, but she left soon after.

I have met amazing people in this world as well. They've become some of my closest friends, and are people I trust completely.

I see. This world functions similarly to the one I just came from. But even after people leave, it's still possible to see them again...

... Yes. I've seen some people return after they've left. However, sometimes, they don't seem to remember their previous stay.

...It can be sad sometimes, but there's no harm in trying to become friends again. ["Pika!" ...She almost forgot about that bright yellow rodent latched on her head. She points at it.] Mii. Are these part of this world too?

Yes, they are. Instead of animals, in this world, there are pokémon. [She gestures to the Lugia.] I also have my own team of them.

To fight! We fight in this world, but only with our pokémon.

That's interesting. Is there a reason for the fighting?

Not that I know of. It just seems to be the way of this world. We battle with top trainers called Gym Leaders, and once we defeat all of them, we can go and battle the best of the best. I'm not sure what is after that though.
