013 [video/action] backdated to the morning

[The video feed turns on to feature a tiny snowman with a scarf around its neck and a Bulbasaur standing next to it, looking up at it curiously.] I finished him! I haven't been able to make a snowman in a long time. [Rika sounds ecstatic about her accomplishment, but the snowman tips over, causing the Bulbasaur to jump back in surprise. Rika sighs as she walks towards the fallen snowman.]

Mii... It looks like I will have to build another one. I did have a lot of fun making it though, so I don't mind. Maybe I can make him taller this time. Nipaa! [She turns off the Gear as she runs around to gather more snow for another snowman.]

Yes. After all, leaders have a distinguishing feature.

The other snowmen can also be smaller than him.

Yeah! That'll make it easier for us to make them too! [Ahh she feels so excited by this idea.]

Yes. We will also need to give them a motive for forming an army.

A motive...

[She thinks long and hard about this... and then thinks of something back home.]

... They want to protect a princess.

[Rika smiles at the idea.] Good idea. What is the princess in danger of?

[Then she thinks about that one guy she doesn't like and giggles to herself.]

Government officials!

I like that. [She bends down to the ground to pick up some more snow.] Now that we have a story, we can start the army.

So do we start with the "once upon a time" thing?

If you would like to.

Okay! [Cocona starts rolling up another snowball.]

Once upon a time... There was a Princess. She was protected by her soldiers because her people loved her. But they didn't know the government officials were actually bossing her around to do stuff she didn't want to do.

[Rika also starts to make another snowball.] ... She had to make laws that only benefitted the government officials, and not the citizens. This made her angry, so one day she came up with a plan.

[She rolls the small snowball to make it bigger.]

She already had her people's support because of how she was! When she gave speeches, they always moved the citizens' hearts and doing something like that wasn't really easy at all. The respected her, so... if something bad happened to her, the citizens would surely be mad.

And one day, the government officials decided to kidnap the princess, because then they could rule without interference from the princess. However, the citizens caught wind of this and there was an angry uproar amonst the kingdom.

[Cocona pauses for a bit, wondering what she should say to continue the story. In the meantime, she sets up the base so that Rika could put hers on top.]

The citizens wanted to revolt against the government and the government officials wanted to use the soldiers against the rebellion. The soldiers were really on the civilians' side too, but they had to listen...

[Rika puts her ball of snow on top of the base.]

So, they decided to make a secret operation that would go against the government officials. However, not everyone was going to participate.

[Then Cocona puts the pebbles on that ball of snow, because she thought it they added another one, they would look too tall.]

Some people wanted to do it peacefully, but others wanted to do it with fighting. They thought fighting would be a lot quicker, but some had family.

[She starts to make another base for a snowman.]

So, they decided that they would try to reason with the government officials before they would resort to fighting. However, they would hear none of it. The government officials would not back down easily. So, they soldiers decided that it would be impossible to settle this matter without fighting.

[And she starts making the second head.]

They loved the princess.

They loved the people and their families among the citizens.

[She pauses to shape the ball into something more of a sphere-like object.]

... If they fought, everything would be destroyed. People would die. But if they all turned against the government officials... [She trailed off, probably lost in thought.]

[Rika gathers a few pebbles to decorate the snowman with. She watches Cocona carefully for a moment before deciding to continue the story.]

... There was no doubt that there would be a lot of bloodshed. The soldiers had now fallen upon a situation where they must war against their own leaders, and it was no longer a decision of what to do. It was deciding when they would do it.

[She puts the head on top of the base.]

The government officials probably already knew about the rebellion because there were so many people talking about it, even when they were trying to keep it a secret. So they hired mercenaries to do the dirty work for them.

These mercenaries, they didn't care about others. They didn't care about how they felt, or what would happen to the people they hurt. So, they set about their work quickly, killing any soldiers who looked like they would be in on the rebellion.

[Rika starts to decorate the newly-made snowman.]

When the civilians heard about this, they raided the barracks and got out the weapons. The soldiers felt that they had no choice but to go against the mercenaries and they were quite strong too. At this point, they didn't care about being loyal to the government officials. They just wanted to live.

[She starts making the base of another snowman now.]

So the soldiers decided they would need help. Although they hated to ask, they had to. So, they began asking any citizens who looked able to fight. Many were willing, as they knew what was going on.

[Once she finished decorating, Rika starts to make the head of the snowman.]

So they go against the mercenaries.

There were lots of people that were killed, not because of the mercenaries, but because there was a lot of stampeding. But they did get rid of the mercenaries and cornered the government officials.

[She sets the base of the snowman next to the leader.]

As expected, the government officials began to beg. They promised ot no longer cause any trouble for the soldiers or their princess, but everyone knew that their promises were only lies.

[Rika finishes the snowman's head and places it on the base.]
