[The video feed turns on with a clatter as Rika's PokéGear falls onto the floor. All that's visible is Rika's hand hanging over the edge of the bed. There's silence for a few moments as everything in the room stays still until suddenly there's the sound of a frantic pokémon.]

Vee! Vee! [At that moment, Rika's hand moves out of view of the Gear.]

Prince? Are you all right? [There's fumbling around for the Gear until Rika manages to reach over the side of the bed and pick it up. She has a worried look on her face despite the fact that she's hugging her Eevee.]

What's going on? How long have I been asleep?

It was. Prof. Oak sent out a message on Saturday, informing us for certain of what was going on. But even before that, I had my suspicions.

The Pokédex entry on Shedinja mentioned that there was a rumor that looking into its back would cost a person her spirit. And every time a video feed showed someone's soul getting stolen -- or what happened right after -- I could see a Shedinja running away.
