[Rika is not amused. At all. The way she is currently presenting herself seems to be completely different than in the past. She means serious business.] Whoever is responsible for this is going to pay. [And she is quite sure of who it is.] I do not appreciate something like this happening in a world that is meant to be peaceful, and I will do what I can to make sure it is stopped.

Therefore, I will be investigating this, since it seems to be coming from outside of Violet City, judging from the direction the crystal is growing. Due to the negative effect that this is having on the environment, I would not be surprised if something similar was going on with the pokémon in the general area.

If you would like to accompany me, meet me at the Center. Make sure your team is well rested and prepared for battle.

*WELL THIS IS AKWARD, as is apparent by the background full of crystal and glittering trees, Hayate kind of wandered out of town all on his own like a winner.*

I can head out over there right now, if that is fine with you. How are you doing over there?

I'm holding up well, considering how ridiculous the terrain is now... I think I have almost arrived at the general area where it's coming from-- There are a lot more of those oddly shaped pokémon around here... I've had to fend off a few of them on my way out of town, but it's getting a lot more hectic the closer I get...

[ and Asuka is-- also not amused, judging by the look on her face as she enters the Center. ]

It really is scary outside. I hope the wild pokemon are okay. [She's mostly worried about the pokemon.] Sora and I want to help you investigate, Rika-san. This world has been very good to us, so we want to fight to keep it peaceful. [And now she looks serious.]

Let me know if you need any help with the investigation. I'm going to stay put in Violet City and see if there's anything Chansey and I can do in the area. Be careful out there, okay?

It may be an ideal training opportunity, but the inconvenience doesn't quite seem worth it.

That is true. Although it will help with becoming stronger, the thought of anyone getting injured in this situation perishes any excitement.

...That's what I'm not completely sure about. I know that this could not have been accomplished by one person. It has to be a group.

I fail to see what goals they were trying to accomplish by causing mass panic.

It may be possible that the panic is only a distraction from what they're trying to accomplish.

I think we all do. [She looks down at Sora who looks pretty serious herself.] We should get going if we want Johto to turn peaceful again. Sora and the rest of my team are ready to battle and I'm prepared with loads of potions just in case.

That still leave their true motives up to question-- [she shakes her head] Standing here will accomplish nothing. Shall I meet you on the edge of Violet City, Furude?

[She nods her head in agreement.] We'll take care of the people in the city. I don't think the Pokemon Centers will be able to take care of everyone at this rate.

[ and with her Seel behaving and not following, at that! Asuka gives her a nod and steps aside to let Rika exit first. ]

First that swarm, and now this... this feels more unnatural, though.
