[Rika is currently sitting under a tree on the outskirts of Violet City, and she's holding a badge in her hands.] Mii. I am sorry that I did not tell anyone that I would be challenging Falkner today. Satoko, I thought it would be better to show you a more even battle since I was too strong for Falkner and the battle went by quickly... I was not able to fight to my fullest, and I want to show you what my team is really like.

[She's silent as she shifts around, putting the badge down on the ground and picking up her Shinx and setting it in her lap.] ... I have also been thinking about Johto and everyone here lately. We all come from different places, and I've wondered if, given the choice, would you go back home right now? Would you forget all of the memories you've made here?

Or would you prefer to bring all of your loved ones here, and leave your home behind? ... Or maybe you would leave all of your loved ones at home and just stay here? [Rika opens her mouth again as she prepares to say something else when her Shinx licks her on the cheek. Her attention immediately turns to the pokémon and she smiles at it.]

Mii? Would you like something to eat? [Rika cuts off the feed as she reaches into her bag to look for food.]

[Guess who was sitting on the other side of the tree and thinking of the same thoughts? Keiichi peers around after Rika finishes talking into the guide.]

--Yo, Rika-chan! Falkner was a breeze for you, huh?

[Rika is a little startled, but she turns to Keiichi with a smile.]

Mii. He was. I can't believe that the battle went by so quickly.

[He'll scoot over to her side of the tree now.]

But about what you were saying eariler... What made you come up with those thoughts? Just spur of the moment thinking or were you thinking about this for a long time?

*Hayate listened to the post, and was close enough that he could home in on Rika after she finished talking! So he shall be approaching after a minute.*

I wouldn't want to forget anything from here, even if I went home to the exact same time and place I came from... even if it seemed like I wouldn't be missing anything.

Ideally, I'd like my friends to be able to have their own lives where they belong... but when we go home, I don't want to forget what happened here, either.

And I completely believe it wouldn't be the last time we see each other, even if we're sent home.

I don't want to leave either world behind. I want to build a bridge between these two worlds, just like the worlds at home.

I'd return home. [Not a single second of hesitation there.] I have too many responsibilities there, especially at the moment. It would be a shame to lose all these memories, but I cannot abandon the people of my world.

[She saw the message and rushes to her.]

I've crossed dimensions and worlds plenty of times before, with and without meaning to. I think, with a little help, it wouldn't be too hard to create a way to cross between them.

Mii... piecing two fragments together, right? I wonder how we would be able to go about doing that.

Even if we did go back to Hinamizawa, the chances of you remembering everything would be a lot higher than me or Satoko.

... Well, it would probably take me a while, but Satoko is another case.

I have a friend living in another dimension right now who'd probably be able to go into specifics a lot better than I ever could, but I can say for sure it's not an impossible feat. I bet if I tracked him down, he'd want to help just to prove he could do it.

My planet has two moons, both of them artificial and home to millions of monsters. A group of people has managed to make the bigger of the two fall from the sky, and if we do not stop it the whole world will be destroyed. Already, mere fragments of it are causing the soil to rot, and the weather has been adversely affected.

[She smiles a little.] I would like to hope so. However, this isn't a fragment of Hinamizawa, which makes me believe that I may not remember anything when we return home.

[Keiichi is quiet for a moment. He never really thought about the situation like that...]
