[Rika turns the pokégear on, and immediately turns it onto her.] Mii... It's a bit strange being back. [Especially since all of the memories of Johto came rushing back to her as soon as she woke up, but that's something she won't mention right now.] I believe it was July that last time I was here. [She looks at her surroundings before looking back at the Gear.] It's colder than it was when I left, so it's been at least a couple of months, right?

[She lets out a small sigh. Honestly, she's not sure if she wants to know how long she's been gone. Especially if she's been gone for a long time, since it'd be more likely for her friends to have gone home—but she's trying not to think about that right now.

So, whatever frown might have formed disappears as she smiles and turns the Gear to an Absol sitting on the ground next to her.] I also have a new pokémon! Although, I'm not sure what I want to name him. [Rika turns the Gear back to her.] I wonder if anyone would like to help me name him? I suppose I could make whoever's suggestion I use a homemade lunch. [There's a short pause.]

... I should probably introduce myself since I'm sure plenty of new people have arrived. I'm Rika Furude and I was here in Johto for two years before I went home. It's nice to meet all of you. Nipaa~

[She grins before shutting off the feed.]

[ Is she tearing? Maybe ... but she is hiding her eyes behind her handkerchief. It is unbecoming of a lady to be seen weeping in public. ]

[She giggles, wiping a tear that was threatening to escape.]

Mii... I was worried that everyone might have left while I was gone.

[ Lacus was silent for a moment. She didn't know how to say that a lot of people have left since she did ... but this happy moment didn't feel like the time to tell her. ]

I am still here. Yayoi and Hayate are too! And I am sure that they will be very happy to see you again.

[huge sigh of relief] Good, I'm glad. I know it hasn't been as long for me, but I'm excited to see them too.

Knowing Hayate, he will be speaking to you soon. So I will not worry. He will find a way to be of help to you.

[she giggles] I'm sure he will. He always finds ways to help.

In the mean time, would you like me to fly where you are, Rika?

That would be nice.

[There's a small pause as her face falls, and she goes through her bag.] Did I lose all of my badges?

I am afraid so ...

[She lets out a sigh, a small pout on her face.]

... Maybe it would be best if I were to go back through and get my badges again.

I see. Do you plan in doing that ... alone?

... I'm not sure. I don't mind doing it alone, but I do think company would be nice.

Would you like Kira and I to stay with you for a while?

We cannot stay to travel with you. But we can keep you company for a while at least. [ Kira is determined to continue doing missions for the anti-rockets. ]

I am sure he will understand.

[She smiles.]

We are in Goldenrod. We were planning on settling with Ms. Saber for a while ...
