[It's late at night, and Rika is sitting on the ground, resting. In the background, there are a few trees and patches of grass. She's currently sitting on the trail itself, her Vulpix right beside her. She looks sad for a moment before she has the camera completely focused on her, and she smiles.]

I'm currently on my way to Violet City. I believe it is only a few more days! [She gives a big smile.] I can't wait to see this city! I think Hope is excited too! [She moves the pokegear to show the Vulpix, who is currently sniffing at something on the ground.]

[When the camera returns to Rika, her demanor has changed slightly and she has a sad smile on her face.] Mii, I've been thinking recently about how everyone has been away from home. So, I was wondering... what was your hometown like? [It's obvious she's feeling homesick, and the only thing she could think of to feel better was to talk to others about their own worlds.]

[She tilts her head a bit in thought. She then smiles.] As long as you feel at home there, it is your hometown. At least, that's what I think. Your hometown must be nice... but what exactly do you mean by slums?

It is!

[She smiles at that comment and nods in agreement] You're probably right...Oh, the slums...that's where the less wealthy people live in Midgar. The lower plate. Everyone else lives on the upper plate, but I've never been there before.

Why are the less wealthy separated from everyone else?

I think...it's because it's too expensive to live on the upper plate. I'm not really sure...You don't have divisions like that where you come from?

Mii... not at all. We do have the three great houses though, but they aren't exactly separate from the other villagers.

Great houses? What are those?

They are the three most wealthy and influential families in the village. One includes the village leader, another has the richest and most influential family, and my family--who take care of the shrine. I'm currently the head of the Furude house and the shrine maiden.

Oh! You must be very important to the people in your village...What's a shrine?

It's where the people in the village go to worship the village's deity.
