011 [video/action]

[It's sometime midday when Rika turns the Gear on, and faces the camera towards herself. She's currently sitting down on the trail right outside of Goldenrod, coming back from a training session with her team.] Mii. Training really is a lot of fun. It's a great way to spend time with all of my pokémon. [She grins as a Ninetails nuzzles against her face.] Ah, that's right! Hope has finally evolved. She's become very strong, and I decided that it was time for her to evolve, and now she's gotten even stronger. [Rika pats the Ninetails on the head.] I'm very proud of her.

[There's a small pause before Rika smiles again.] As of today, I have a new member on my team! [She puts the Gear down for a moment as she releases a pokémon. Once she picks it back up, Rika now has a Bulbasaur in her lap.] I'm not exactly sure what to name him yet, but I know that I will come up with a good name! Nipaa!

I've noticed that so many people seem to have really interesting names for their pokémon. How do you decide what to name your pokémon?

Yes. People are very different in that respect.

... I would hope so as well. Although, sometimes that can't be avoided.

There are those who cannot be stopped by words, defeat, or even containment. Luckily, I have found that they are far from the majority.

Yes, luckily they are. However, those who have an unending resolve to defeat evil are also not in the majority.

Defeating evil for its own sake can be pointless, for its complete eradication is impossible. For those who do not have that resolve, wishing to protect loved ones or to save the world from a particular evil suffices.

That's true. However, it's also difficult to find those sort of people as well.
