Beatrice the Golden... She's another witch from Luci's world. In fact, there seem to be a lot of them going from what she's told me.

I think it's... heart. When Beatrice told me how she was created, it felt too far-fetched for me to believe! But when I saw her sad and painful expression... I knew that she wasn't lying. When I saw Bernkastel, though... Her eyes didn't have anything. No feelings or emotions behind it. Like a doll put up on display at a toy store.

... It's as if she's hiding her heart... Or she might not even have one.

I see. How was Beatrice created?

... I would like to think that she is hiding it, or that it is masked behind her boredom.

W-well... It's really complicated... It's more like she already existed, but she was trapped in the body of a human by some magician and then decided to end her time in that body. Then it happened again, but she managed to have freed herself again.

... It really sounds like something you'd read out of a fantasy novel.

It does... It sounds complicated.

I wonder if witches suddenly poof out of mid air. Almost like the whole Big Bang theory. Or if someone creates the concept of one and they suddenly start to exist. Kind of like when you're creating an imaginary friend.

I believe that it's possible. Of course, after arriving here I think anything is possible.
