[It's sometime midday when Rika turns the Gear on, and faces the camera towards herself. She's currently sitting down on the trail right outside of Goldenrod, coming back from a training session with her team.] Mii. Training really is a lot of fun. It's a great way to spend time with all of my pokémon. [She grins as a Ninetails nuzzles against her face.] Ah, that's right! Hope has finally evolved. She's become very strong, and I decided that it was time for her to evolve, and now she's gotten even stronger. [Rika pats the Ninetails on the head.] I'm very proud of her.

[There's a small pause before Rika smiles again.] As of today, I have a new member on my team! [She puts the Gear down for a moment as she releases a pokémon. Once she picks it back up, Rika now has a Bulbasaur in her lap.] I'm not exactly sure what to name him yet, but I know that I will come up with a good name! Nipaa!

I've noticed that so many people seem to have really interesting names for their pokémon. How do you decide what to name your pokémon?

[She shakes her head.] Mii. Not yet. I think I need to get to know his personality before I can properly name him.

Couldn't hurt. That's why I haven't named the other magikarp. That and I was thinking of raising it for someone.

Will you give it to them when it becomes a Gyarados?

Not in this world yet. Maybe ever.

I'm sure you will someday. After all, I thought I would never see anyone from my world, and they're here.

Thanks. I just figure if they do show up, they'll need the extra help and that way I don't have to worry about them.

Nah, it's not an all bad break I guess.

Not what I'd choose to do, but since I don't have a choice, then yeah, this place is probably the best of those.

After all, we could have ended up somewhere dangerous.

[Small chuckle.]

Supposedly I was somewhere dangerous. Hell, the next place I wanted to go is supposed to be a hundred times worse. Or so they say.

Still, that many kids winding up someplace like that would be bad.
